Pricing
All of our puppies are priced individually, according to quality, sex, estimated adult size and color at 4-6 weeks of age and we breed only from bloodlines known for their excellent health, disposition, and beauty. All of our puppies are eligible for AKC registration. We prefer to place our puppies as companion pets only. Limited AKC Registration (no breeding or show rights) is available for companion pets for a small charge and full AKC Registration is sometimes available at an additional charge to approved show/breeding homes. References are required to be considered for breeding/show rights. Our puppies are our passion . . . not a means of making a living. The costs of caring for our dogs and puppies consistently exceed our income from puppy sales by 50-75%, and we are therefore unable to offer puppies priced as low as puppies offered by backyard breeders and puppy mills. Our puppies are well cared for physically, mentally and emotionally and puppy buyers who have done their homework will immediately see the difference between a Britteli puppy and the "others".
Waiting List
A non-refundable deposit of $350.00 will reserve your place on our waiting list for current or future litters. New babies will be offered first to those on our waiting list, and to the general public after all waiting list members have been contacted. After you have chosen a puppy, your deposit will be applied to the total purchase price of the puppy. The balance of the total purchase price (including any necessary shipping charges) is due when your puppy is 7 weeks old, if being shipped, or at the time of delivery, if being delivered locally. Unless prior arrangements have been made, any payment which is not made on time will forfeit all prior deposits and the puppy will be made available to other buyers.

Shipping
Your new Shih Tzu puppy can be delivered within the Continental United States by our puppy nanny at a cost of $325-$350. This is our preferred method of delivery for puppies that are not picked up from our home. Your puppy will be attended in-cabin during his or her entire flight rather than being crated alone in the plane's cargo hold. Puppies who are picked up from our home or delivered by our puppy nanny can go home at approximately 10 weeks of age or when they reach 2 pounds, whichever comes LATER. Puppies who are delivered via air cargo WILL NOT be shipped prior to 12 weeks of age, and some puppies may require a longer stay with us. For puppies who are delivered via air cargo, either inside or outside the Continental United States, we will ship via Continental Airlines only. Total cost will be determined by current air fare, final destination and any associated import/export requirements. If a puppy is expected to mature at 6 pounds or less and has not reached 2 pounds by 12 weeks of age, we require the puppy to be picked up in person or delivered by our puppy nanny . . . sorry, but out of concern for our puppies we can make no exceptions. Our primary concern is for the welfare of our puppies, and in NO CASE will a puppy be delivered by any means until we have determined that he or she is ready to leave.
Payments
A deposit of one half of the purchase price (including any applicable shipping charges) will hold your new Shih Tzu puppy until he or she is 7 weeks old, at which time payment in full is due, unless you are paying cash and picking your puppy up in person. When I receive notification of your intention to place a deposit on a puppy, I will hold the puppy for 5 working days, pending receipt of the deposit. Arrangements may be made to hold your puppy beyond the time when he or she is ready to go home, if necessary. We charge a boarding fee of $5.00 per day plus any additional expenses incurred such as veterinary care. Payments may be made by United States Postal Service money order or through PayPal (with an additional 3-1/2% fee for transfers originating in the U.S. or 4-1/2% for transfers originating outside the U.S.). If a payment is not received on time without prior arrangements, all previous payments will be forfeited and the puppy will be made available to other buyers. My mailing address or PayPal account information will be provided to buyers once purchase arrangements have been made. All payments must be made in U.S. dollars and drawn on a U.S. bank.
